Lesser Tattoo idea. (in General)

What if you were able to equip 2 lesser tattoos (still only 1 greater tattoo). With 2 lessers equipped MTL would be halved to prevent buying massive tats.

Having 2 half-sized tats would make them more susceptible to countermeasures such as amf/ec/dm, and the slower growth rate (50% of normal tats) would also help keep them from being overpowered.

2 familiars would be kind of fun :)

I'm not so sure it would be better then having 1 tattoo that is double the size. I don't think it could be overpowered, unless some one power leveled 2 really big ones, but that would be a huge undertaking.

ToE/RoBF combo?

lToE would be a bit of a problem since it has a fairly low curve relating to level (doesnt change much with level), it would likely need to be changed (or have no lToE?) some for balance

Um, I would just slap on two DD familiars and enjoy the bonus meat-shield. While I like that idea for myself, it's a huge NO for everyone else.

I hate this idea, more bonuses for multi-minions

Interesting idea, I like it. Not to hijack your thread, but I was just thinking we need a ranged weapon that targets familiars (or the minion wearing a tat) first.

Wouldn't be that great titan. You would be weak to both AMF and DM.

if using DM, the opponent wouldn't be using AMF, so SG hits

if using AMF, the opponent wouldn't be using DM, so SS casts, plus RoS provides at least some buffer against DM

a normal RoS could certainly use dm/amf against that strat.

You gonna invest in 16M levels of DM to DM just 20% of my AC away, good for you. Then, another 5-6M to be slightly effective with the AMF. Now, if you're a 5M mpr char, you've got like 4M more levels to work with, and you've still got a large AC tank with 26M levels on him if it's 5Mv5M. Not to mention the tank is looking at still like 80% reduction versus physical, and like 50% versus magic. With 15M HP, 6M DX, and 8M ST, and an EF that'd deal out loads of damage even before it kills itself, I'd take that battle any day. The only logical way to take this strat is...

4 minion
1 18M levels of EC
2 AS RoS'd to like 6M levels with a nice tat
3 base decay
4 1M SG, 7M GA

2 minion, 2 IF, 2 AS? super HP factory! :D

I know Pit I'm saying I would figure out a way to max those 2 Tats and my MTL for them....imagine a 20Mil MTL in half for those tats would be 10 Mil a piece. Yeah I could rock that!

Also not the different strats everyone is chunking out there. Could you imagine a SM with 2 Lesser Tats? FGoD with a LToA and a LToE(if made) would be just plain out nasty. Man...ohhhh man, LToA and a LHal would be a dangerous combination! Etc etc......I would be like a kid in a candy shop!

I was thinking the 2 lesser tats would have to be on different minions Zen. Also, do note that there is no lhal (or ljkf).

No Lesser ToE either Pit I guess it' a hint for them to be made.....lol Also I would like to say it really sucks that SM get shafted on almost ALL new ideas. Can we have just a little love for SMs please?!

I had been thinking on different minions, 2 on the same one just never occurred to me. That may be difficult to add to the game? There is an LToE in item overview.

Ahh yes you are right on the LToE! I guess since I have never seen one spawned or used I thought they had been nixed from the game *shruggs*
