...am I fighting that I am raising my MPB so much against? Over the last 2 days, it has gone from 29M to 47M...I should have paid more attention to see who started fighting me

Has to be an ELB archer. No other character would deal enough physical damage in ranged to store up that kind of damage on your SoC which is the only place that damage could be coming from, when I fight you, even though I use AS which doubles your MoD damage you certainly don't get anywhere near 47mil hits on me.

Huh. I attacked you to see how big of a blast you'd hit me with since I have an ELB, but look at what happened:

Nvm, I understand now, the maximum that can be leeched is 20% of the target's HP - that explains why the leech stops climbing even though the damage doesn't.

No, I have not fought any of them. ELBs at the upper NW ranges tend to kill me before melee.

Xeno noticed that JW's The Travelling Man is on both Nat and my fightlists...so perhaps that's it

that's kinda what i was just wondering. does the soc store up other soc damage returned? in effect could it be a compounding of soc damage plus regular damage stored and returned with more regular damage and stored again? i was just going to check to see if he used the soc as well.

Dudemus thats exactly what I was thinking, the one thing I noticed is that all 3 of them are using SoCs.. so maybe that is exactly whats happening.

I know what usually causes the big MPB. My weapon is very small on the +, and so I whiff a lot....and then, several rounds in, I land a lucky hit and get all the damage that's been stored up, plus my bloodlust damage bonus.

JW uses DBs, so that's totally possible here as well

but Tasha's MoD is not at all small, so that still seems unaccounted for.

It has to be JW, thats the only thing that makes sense to me considering he's attack both of you in the past 24 hours, and both your MPBs raised around the same time.

yeah, that is why i thought it must be an elb user. when kwai chang used the soc all of his big hits were living through ranged and thus storing up all of that damage.

it would be cool to test the soc against soc to see if it does create a feedback loop though!

Well it took him 39 rounds to fight nat and he lost, but I can guarantee he's doing far less damage to nat then he's doing to you, which would make sense that you land a lucky blow for more damage because you happen to be stocking up more over a shorter amount of time then she did.

That's just what the logs seem like to me, as I can't see anyone else on both of your lists that could be dealing out that kind of damage.
