NCB idea! (in General)

Make the get more BA free and drop cash rewards by 50% (cash reduction only applies to NCB characters).

That actually could be an interesting suggestion. Rather than 50% though probably 100%. Free ba but 100% drop in rewards so you make no money. I would suggest that you have this as a separate ncb option. In fact I would also like to see time length option ncbs as well. Where you can decide to have a 4 month, 6 month or 12 month ncb option.

Wow, you guys all want someone like me to just not make a single dime :(

IE: Someone who comes back to the game after years of absence, has nothing saved up to play with, and has to start an NCB in order to be competitive at all. I wouldn't have anything at all right now if I couldn't make any money, unless I ran a non bonus char.. which would be impossible to be competitive with.

Are we forgetting how costly N*B botchecks are =[ you have to make SOME money to account for the possibility of missing one or the system glitching, etc

inb4 "don't miss any botchecks then" that's a stupid argument

nat's idea to make it optional allows people to still do it the current way if they come back to the game after selling out, not that it should be a concern if they are in this shape as that was their choice to do so.

it would also allow those worried about paying for bot checks to play as they do now as well. healing would have to changed a bit for this system though.

I'm still worried about making money for people like me.. there are a few of us, I'm not the only one I know that.

If it were optional and one of the choices was to select the current system where I can still make money, or a system that helps people in my situation make more money to really start the game to begin with then I'm fine with that idea.

Buying BA for an NCB isn't a must

A (relatively) small loan and buying only during whacky exp times can still get you pretty big. I just hit 7 refresh today and I still have about 11 weeks left on this one. There was also a small window where I was actually making money while buying on 2 days.

I like this idea too...save a ton of money for healing/bot check and just slam out a 4 month NCB where you make 0 money but have the chance to hit EVERY BA. I would do that one for sure.

that would totally depend on your criteria. if your criteria is getting up pretty high then you are correct.

if, however your criteria is the level jon stated was the goal for the n*b then it is a must. it is more of a requirement now than it has ever been due to the score drain from early tournaments making a comparable challenge bonus impossible through any n*b run.

I like the idea of free BA for a reduced reward system with various options. I have yet to see anyone get near the top buying only during xp times.

The reason I would think it would work is an a new player would be able to get closer to the top,(or even a old player coming back) but with less NW they would have less sustainability at that level and slowly level out after the ncb has been completed. Those who have enough available would level out where they should be.

This would also put very many people in the same situation I am in. A high score and low pr which is easy to beat and get farmed into CP hell.
