Got a good tutorial or suggestions?

Oh, I remember hearing that this was going FTP awhile back. Might actually give it a shot now... though I've grown quite tired of regular old MMOs like these and they can only hold my interest for a few days at max.. but who knows.

I did the trial a couple months ago and it seemed quite fun. If there are a bunch of people playing I'll definitely join in.

it has an in game tutorial, or at least used to, that is pretty good about showing you the ropes. just get on an hour earlier than ya want to actually play because the options in character creation are impressive! ; )

I hate my net connection so much.. I'm only d/ling at like 100kbs right now even though my max possible is like 360-380kbs.. I think someone else in this house is choking my bandwidth like always.

Haha, mine wont even be finished downloading until sometime tomorrow. I hate all of you with good net connections -_-

Just an advanced warning: Beast and Sentinel are unplayable for free accounts. But yet you can still select them.

Unsuccessful in downloading it, I let it run all night and got 3.2% complete.

Haha, I'm still only at 75%... god I hate dsl. Not sure what I'm going to go yet, probably some kind of ranged attacker/caster.

I think you're going to go to your local cable provider and switch over. :)

^ There's a reason why I don't have a cable internet provider over a dsl one, but to sum it up: My grandmother lives with us and shes a miserable, stubborn, crotchety old woman. She pays for the cable to the house and won't cancel her account and let us take it over for her. Reason being they made a mistake on her bill a while back and she's been getting undercharged for service. She doesn't want to make any changes to the account or add internet service because she doesn't want them catching it and correcting the mistake.

And to all the people who will probably say "That's a horrible thing to say about your grandmother." All I have to say to you is this: you have no idea what she's like and you haven't lived with her for the last 15 years. -_-

Actually I just realized I think its the Champions Online server itself that is to blame for my slow download speeds. I'm downloading something on steam right now and its downloading at my max speed no problem, yet the champions online downloader has been struggling to even stay above 60kbps all day.

I think it might be because of it just going FTP that a ton of people are bogging down the servers trying to download it all at once.

Yeah, Cryptic has been having server issues since F2P Release.
