Should I stock up 1000 ba for bonus times or spend it throughout the week

the only time you stockpile ba is before a ncb run. as a nub you never will and should use it before it hits 160.

Consider this: If you stockpile bought BA over 160, you are losing 432 BA per day _at the 6/20 regen rate_. You aren't at 6/20, so that means you would be losing a great deal more. Definitely, definitely not worth it.

Yeah like everyone else said, stocking up 1000+ ba is for people getting ready to start NCB runs. Most people try to stock up 1600 ba and then start their NCB runs at XP time to get a solid start.

The trouble with that is that you spend more time looking for suitable opponents than fighting.
I prefer to start on a Friday, and try to get clear of the 'noise level' by Sat XP time.

Thats why you look for opponents while you're stocking up BA all week... you don't do it the day of, that's just a complete waste of time.

He better buy all of the BA -- it's free for him. Remember, he's on a NUB, not an NCB.

nub's used to have to buy their own ba out of their battle rewards just like regular players. it was tempting though, when the cbd to usd ratio was higher, to sell out and make money instead of growing your character & gear.

the change was made to reduce rewards by the amount it costs to buy ba for nubs so you are paying for it through reduced battle rewards.

Yep. Your monetary rewards would otherwise be multiplied by the same very high bonus as your XP. You still get bonus, but now it's discounted by pre-paid BA.
