Missed botcheck? (in General)

So I just totally missed a botcheck on my phone and was able to keep fighting...i typed lane instead of late on accident. Did we get a cellphone forgiveness feature?

Using the normal fight page or the mobile one?

I had something similar happen to me a while back. The only difference was that I didn't even have to type anything in. Nothing could be found wrong so I let it go. The thread is somewhere I've little time to look for it so eh.

well i tried fighting on the mobile link until i got one. it was sent and i typed in sept to see what would happen. it brought up a second bot check for me, marking the first one missed.

i didn't try to miss the second to see if it would let me keep fighting as that wasn't what ob reported so it seems to be working correctly for me on the mobile link.

NS: Using the normal fight page

dudemus: it's not something that I've noticed happening before, just last night when I was fighting on my phone I had the auto-correct change the word on me before I hit submit. I was expecting a miss and a 2nd botcheck, and then the fight results page showed. IDK why it did it, but I know for sure that the word in the field was not the word on the botcheck. :P

I had one almost a week ago where I clearly put a "/" at the end of the three-letter word. I hit enter and watched it go through, and I passed. I assume that I hit enter and "/" at the same time, and I got lucky with data submitting before the slash registered. Is there a chance that the auto-correct didn't happen until after you started submitting the answer?

i would guess, given the timeframe, that we could check and see what the system received as input and know for sure?

Demi's hypothesis is very plausible.

The system only record fails. Z's aforementioned occurrence never registered, because he didn't fail.
