i have had 2 cards handed to me yesterday, both are cheap...
could you tell me which one to use for now?
nvidia 6800 XT
ATI radeon 9800SE
spell check hates me, therefore this sentence is filler. Apparently it really hates me, because i have to add more.

The 6800xt is the crippled version of the 6800, but it's supposedly easy to OC -- though I can't imagine it's worth the trouble.
The Radeon 9800SE should be around 400mhz while the 6800XT is probably around 350mhz. Both should be 256MB.
Without knowing much else about either card, I'm leaning to the 9800SE. But you won't get much modern gaming from either.
I'd go with the 6800xt, but if I'm not mistaken one is AGP and the other is PCI-Ex.. so go with whichever actually fits into your computer as only one of them will.
both are pci-e
both will fit in my pc
both are pieces of junk

Hmm. Make sure the 9800se isn't AGP. I just googled it and found people choosing the 6800xt over it for that very reason.
Adding extra text is easier than adding html code.
Hmm after digging into it some more apparently the 6800xt comes in both agp or pci-e.. so I guess it comes down to whichever one you were handed. I'm assuming that if they both came from the same person they are both the same type of card.
I'd still take the XT over the SE.

Ninja'd because of spellcheck... sad day indeed.
