Server Error, Then This... (in General)

Lord Bob March 12 2011 4:54 PM EST

Your ability to fight has been disabled for 10 minutes. Note that multiple suspensions will result in longer penalties, however you will continue to regenerate BA

To prevent this from occurring in the future, make sure that the fight page has finished loading before trying to fight again.

Anybody else?

If you ever get a server error when fighting you absolutely have to wait a few minutes before trying to fight again. Otherwise you will definitely get a suspension.

Eliteofdelete [Battle Royale] March 13 2011 7:16 AM EDT

Yep, I have had it a few times; it is really stupid.

Phaete March 13 2011 11:53 AM EDT

train first after the server error, then you won't get the error.

thanks Phaete

If you get a server error while fighting, please note the char you were fighting and make a post.

I don't feel like the server error and the character I am fighting are connected. It never looks like its on the same person.

Zenai [Ministry of Pain] March 14 2011 2:28 PM EDT

Rod: It doesn't matter this simply makes it easier for the Admins to track since it's a reference point.

Zenai [Ministry of Pain] March 14 2011 2:30 PM EDT

Grrr stupid auto correct on my phone. Rod = EoD

Might add in a time as well. Maybe a copy of the fightlog for a few fights before and after to better pinpoint the error.

If you want to test this....

  1. Don't. I'm an idiot.

LB, the particular case that you encountered will be fixed at cache flush.

Please don't make me have to put all kinds of advanced overflow protection everywhere. Your repeated stunt makes the logs INCREDIBLY hard to read. There was no reason you had to repeat that as many times as you did, and DEFINITELY no reason to entice others to do it.
