Another common one to have is this:

putting a single > at the beginning of a line with a space after it will make it look quoted. Keep in mind this only works when you have reply text set to "Plain Text"

Also, if you select plain text and post a link, CB should automatically make it a link. If you want to know more about HTML read this webpage.
