Problems with the Tutorial (in General)

What would you identify as the major problems of the tutorial, I want to focus on inform as well as retaining new users.

Ignore these:

1) Goes into loops
2) Linear
3) Waits to put people in chat until after it finishes

Kinda hard to give advice on this since most of us haven't seen the tutorial for several years if at all. The blatant things that we know are wrong with it you told us to ignore.

Telling new players to click "help" and read the wiki isn't enough. We need pages in there that will address every common question a new player comes up with, and we really need to walk them through the tutorial. Have a friend try out CB and you'll realize how hard the learning curve is.

Also maybe we can tie some video tutorials into the tutorial and we could host them on youtube.
