And.. Well, I had a quick look in the wiki, and the changelog entry shows nothing since I left (Slayer is a full admin). Is this just not up to date, or has nothing changed...? (Or alternatively, am I forgetting to check somewhere?)

In my opinion Fireball does not do enough damage to finish the job quickly enough. If you can pick up a decent tattoo, the RoBF strat works pretty good for little cash. There are a whole slew of examples in the top rankings.

I'd forgotten that tats could be the most expensive part of (re)starting, to be honest. And without the NUB I'll be without a crazy good one. I'll look at my options there, and maybe not start an NCB until I have enough money. Which is ... pretty boring, actually.

Natasha' managed to beat all/almost all the top players with a tatless heavy single minion... think it had 20m HP and more than that in FB

No, Novice is talking about during one of the tourneys we had Nat did that build and was able to beat most of the top players with it.

A simple NCB without buying BA is where you want to start, I suggest talking with folks in chat about the most viable strat for growth.

Nah, not all NUBs do that well. I came back to the game with nothing and I'm currently running an NCB and doing rather well with it. If everything pans out the way I planned I should finish it out slightly above one of the top NUBs we have right now, either that or tie him for mpr, and that's without buying BA for about 80% of the run.
