a Paypal question... (in Off-topic)

So someone gave me a pre-paid Mastercard and I'd find it more convenient to have the money in my PayPal account.

I don't have a ton of experience with Paypal and I was wondering if there was a way to move the balance of that credit card over to my account.

i think the easiest way would be to let someone else send you money from the card, they would need paypal as well and you might lose some money to card fees from paypal.

when i am faced with that kind of need, i usually just use the card for something needed, like groceries and then move the money out of my checking account to paypal. by groceries i do mean beer.

Beer is one option... but I haven't had a drop of alcohol in over 2 months and the card has an expiry date....

well if you cannot find any other way we can try you sending me money using the card and then i send it back to ya, not sure how much you would lose in that process though due to credit card charges.

Dude is right about just having a friend send the money from your card/their account to your account. If you know someone with a PayPal account, they can just use the card to fill up the PayPal account (for "free") and then empty their PayPal account into yours. That means one transfer charge instead of two.

Bonus points when using "For Services Rendered" as the reason for sending the money -- it makes them wonder!

Loch try this out, I dunno if it works for pre-paid cards or not but go paypal and under the my account tab hit profile and then go to add or edit credit card and see if you can add the card yourself that way.

you can try to send money to yourself, i just have never tried it but it might work.

Yes, you can send money to yourself... i've done it...

Legal way:
Set up a personal and a business account... send the money from one to the other. Use separate emails.
