Suggestion: Pre set minion orders (in General)

I think it would be great if like training sets, we could have minion order sets as well :D

Xenogard [Chaotic Serenity] May 20 2011 9:19 AM EDT

I've mentioned this a few times in chat as something I would like to see.. even more-so I would like to see equipment sets just the same, as I tend to have different gear for attacking certain people/defending.

Defensive setups skew the score ladder, I see no reason to make it easier.

didn't we use to have gear cool-down periods?

I think he's just talking about moving minions around... but item sets would be freaking awesome (as well as a way to raise the cap on unequipped items per char)

I don't mean for equipment, just the order your minions are in.

I see both being useful, honestly minion order is 10x easier to switch up in a few seconds but it would still be nice to do it in one click rather then 3 to 4. For item sets though I feel like its one of the few ways to open up other options to people besides 'set it up and forget about it' because quite frankly that gets stale after awhile. (I love this game don't get me wrong, but just try to prove me wrong in saying -most- teams are completely set in stone and don't switch things up at all.) Heck if I only have to change 2-3 pieces of gear to beat someone/block someone I'm going to do it anyway considering nothing is preventing me from doing so in the first place.

It keeps me more active in my fighting as I'm always checking out who's fighting me and how I can block them, and I'm always going after new targets that literally with a change of an item or two I can suddenly beat. IMO its one of the few things you can do with your team to keep it from being completely static and set in stone. I feel like its a more fun and engaging way to go about my fighting habits, rather then log in, have my fight list full of people who I can beat with out any changes to my team, and then just holding enter till all my BA is gone.

Basically I do all of this anyway, and will continue to do so regardless of whether or not a feature is added in to help me out with the tedious process of flopping gear/minions around in between fights.

If you're happy fighting the same old people all the time just because you don't have to switch some things up between fights, then more power to ya, but I'd rather take out/block everyone I possibly can if I have the ability to do so.. and like I said I already do this anyway. So what really are you changing by adding something like this? Changing 15 seconds worth of gear swapping for a single click instead? Is that really all that game breaking? Heck I do it the second I notice people fighting me that I can beat and I do it before their cool down from their last attack is even up.

TL;DR - Yeah I ramble, too bad now read it.

Read his post ^

I agree with basically the whole thing.

Does it really matter? The end is near. Lets all strip down to out new 2010 T-shirts, turn on the water hoses and party like...

Which reminds me, I think you should switch back to an ice familiar :D

Xenogard [Chaotic Serenity] May 20 2011 4:49 PM EDT

You'd like that wouldn't you heh, we'll see ;)

My favorite thing about my strat is the fact that I can make it work with just about every familiar. Flexibility is nice.
