Anyone here have mechanical car knowledge? (in Off-topic)

I just picked up a 92 honda civic dx... this thing sucks, its slow as molasses. I want to drop in a b16 from an integra and i heard they just drop in and with some wiring and motor mount issues, its plug and play...

while i do this and have everything out i will be switching from an automatic transmission to a manual 5 speed (hopefully, if not then 4 speed)

anyone been down this road before?

I haven't been down that road but I do know it most likely is possible.
Have you signed up on a Honda Civic club forum and asked around there?

I'm on a Toyota Starlet club forum and we have lots of knowledge on putting different engines / turbo's in and more.

found the motor i want, comes with tranny, so all i need is a clutch pedal and master cylinder (and some fabrication knowledge) and i'll have a fast(er) car
