Tournament idea (in Contests)

Rule

1 minion only team allow.
Starting exp 100K so the -1K MPR no bonus is skip.
BA cap 500
Bonus rewards 500% so you dont have to change target every fight or so. That what make tourney too long and prevent most players from actualy winning. Most are not interest spending several hour just to get 250K.

Highest MPR win
Bonus of 50K for highest MPR opponent defeated

no starting BA?

1 day tourney?

highest mpr tournaments are pretty gameable and usually end up frustrating more players than they please.

i was merely speaking historically. slayer did agree with me which was why after the first ten or so tournaments neither score nor mpr were the sole factors in determining winners for very many tournaments. at least until he left that is.

maybe if you found the threads you're talking about... because I went back through and even Slayer was running mpr based tourneys

i looked at ten through 44 last night and didn't see one that was solely based on mpr as the winning factor. 1 through ten there were a few but not that many.

there were some using mpr in addition to another stat as a ratio and at least one team mpr tourney but no mpr solely that i found. i didn't actually check each one but spot checked quite a few last night to make sure i wasn't crazy.

1 day low NW single minion char. End of BA, buy 3 minions, gg no re.

it was actually sometime around t20 that we quit seeing the mpr tournaments. i had missed some of the teens last night.

the hiring issue was another one of the issues with highest mpr tournaments as well.

I found three tourneys two of which were Slayers after T20... this is really a one man campaign at this point dude

If mpr is too gameable then tournies are too gameable whatever the format.

you are the tournament admin and it is your choice to make. i was trying to help.
