Who felt the earthquake today? 5.9 in VA. Shook my house a good deal, I live 90 miles north. I don't think there has been any reported injuries yet, so that's good. There were reported shakes in NY.
I live in south jersey and I felt it, my entire house shook for about 20 seconds. I was on the second floor in the bathroom at the time and I was just looking around thinking to myself "Is my house really moving?".
Earthquake wasn't even close to one of the first thoughts I had on what was going on at the time. First time I've ever experienced it in my life.

Exactly the same thing here. I was pretty close to it, so it was some decently violent shaking for like 5-10secs. I just sit there, like what the hell is going on, then about the time it was ending, I was like "oh crap, this is an earthquake."
I live on Long Island, NY, and I almost got into a car accident because some panicky Pete couldn't handle the feeling of his car shaking, and slammed on his brakes right in front of me.
