actually there's no scientific way to be sure what happens when you die, maybe you're brain stays active... you just can't move or see or breathe or eat or hear....

No. You simply do not exist anymore as a conscious entity. This is the same as before you were born. There was no "you" then, and after you die there will again be no "you," aside from the non-sentient, inanimate worm food you left behind.
