Just bringing this idea back from the grave.
Does anyone here have any experience creating apps for both of these markets? And if so, how much work are we looking at creating an App for each market?
A lot... like a full App would take a lot of man hours from NS plus like 3 outside developers; basically like the equivalent of like a full time job for like a month. But, have no fear, something is being done.

Don't both of those classes of devices have web browsers ?
Wouldn't CB work on them right now as it is ?
Or am I missing something ?
which is why i still think this is our best option:

we do have a simple version if anyone is interested. i use it on my android & ipad and it is quite fast!
That's not preferable, CB as it is on phones is slow, clustered, hard to navigate, and chatless. A good app would try to address or fix some or all of these.
Mine was in response to Sickone.

Agreed with dudemus, as I did in the previous thread...I still want the CB mobile page with the big "Fight" button so I can play from my phone :)
Having that on the app store doesn't accomplish one of the big benefits of an app on android/iphone; introducing new players to the game via the stores.
and if you put it at $0.99 then there can be a small profit for the admins
I don't think it'd sell very many then... and apple takes like half the profit.

So, in other words, provide a less waste-of-spacey alternative page layout for CB (with laaaarge buttons for often-used things) and a non-java based chat alternative too ?
