this game is generally a big waste of everyones time. Shut it down, go buy the old republic, join guild havoc empire, actually have fun with life. This game has no point anymore. It was cool when there were a whole bunch of active players like back in the tscm, steve g, mythology days. Now theres like 20 people who play, let the thing go it's over.

And I'm able to play WoW and CB (and 40k tabletop, and Earthdawn PnP and Vampire PnP) and raise a family at the same time. ;)

The fact that CB still exists is awesome, the number of games with any kind of active player base after ten years (especially of this variety) is tiny. We exist because the people who play like playing, and like playing together. For someone to stop back by and go from the old "the sky is falling" to "the sky has fallen" just shows how amazing the game has been. For the folks still enjoying the game (even folks like me who miss lots of BA and don't get to gibber in forums as much) it's really cool to have.

To be honest I think were only a couple changes away from having a pretty active user base again. The majority of people who sign in are just lurkers waiting for changes. If we ever get those changes they'll be sucked back in.

Elf certainly has a point.

Elf started a thread like this just a week or 2 ago and it was quickly closed by the admins.

Now, an admin even replied in this thread without closing it.

We do like consistency in the application of the rules.

Having not read the original thread I can't comment on similarity, but I've closed this thread while it gets sorted.
