NHL playoff contest 2.0 (in Contests)

For the second year ill repeat my NHL playoff contest please stay tune. Starting somewhere next week.

Final standing is now know. Prediction will work like last year, you need to pick winner of each series, and following rounds. Little reminder highest position meet the lowest position from the regular season.

EX:

NY ranger vs Ottawa NY ranger in 6

In case of a draw of the amount of prediction the amount of game will be the tie breaker.

EX:

NY ranger vs ottawa NY ranger in 6

result NY ranger win in 4 game then you get 1 point for correct prediction and you are 2 game off.

My picks are probably going to be the worst but meh....

The hard part are Nashville vs detroit and pitt vs phily. Its like the conference final in the first round.

So glad Nashville and Detroit are playing each other to knock one or the other out..

Having lived in St. Loser and experienced the pains of a team that never made it past the 2nd round since the NHL merger, I am rooting for this very young inexperienced team to go as far as they can--

GO BLUES!!!

St louis have a good reputation across the NHL as a good organization, but they lack the money of big hockey market or the fame of large metropolis like LA or NYC.

Great game of hockey with the Blues tonight! And I am sad to see Chicago won.. Sending it into OT with 5 seconds left...

But Ottawa won!

I was ecstatic to see the Hawks win. It's too bad they did not win game 1 in similar fashion.

The way thing goes a lots of us will get most of our prediction wrong. Pitts/van are almost out of the playoff. Should have stick with my original idea before the season start.

Glad to see the two Sharks cheap shots went unnoticed by Shanahan..

Its a mess so far in the playoff, its hit to injure. Pitts vs phily is out of control. They are waiting for 1 to break is neck and die on the ice. Hossa left for the hospital, after a later hit straight to the head.

Instead of suspensions for 1-3 games, they should suspend the enforcer of the hit for as long as the victim is out of commission. I hate to say it because I'm afraid a Blues player might accidentally injure somemone and get suspended for it if this were the rules.

But seriously, the hit on Macdonald in game 2, Galiardi left his feet, and that's all Banahan has been talking about was guys leaving their feet to make a hit to the head. And it makes me mad about Galiardi not even being fined a little bit, because Macdonald was out for concussion earlier this year, good thing that didnt sprout up again..

Well, I don't see how I can possibly win anymore. I had an awful year picking.

Don't feel bad. There is a pretty good chance I will only get 1 pick correct in the first round!!!
