[Fixed] what happenned to my tattoo? (in General)

I had a 12.5 mil+ named tattoo and its been reset...did I really offend someone? Sorry...now my strata is screwed...

Look at avg nw for armor in the items overview

As well as my tattoos being reset all of my armor has been changed to +8, every single piece

All equipped armor has been reset to +8... ive lost 500 million in mw...

On the other hand - A 2010 CB T-shirt [1] (+8)

All Armours have been set to +8 and all Tattoo's reset.

A bug that's most likely been introduced by accident, and will probably require a restore from a backup to rectify.

Apart from T-Shirts, is there anything else that is now +8, that shouldn't have been able to get there, that we can have some fun with until this is restored? ;)

It's all at +0 now.

I have faith, in NS and Co., that this will only be a minor temporary setback. Let's just have a bit of patience.

Tattoos reset again too

um... this is not good..

After checking my Play by Play I can debunk the "Everything Has Been Reset." It is only visual folks as everything is STILL functioning like it should. There is no way a LVL 20 EF can deal out 4 Million damage..........

My post battle stats indicate otherwise - I have no dx and much less evasion than I had.

Well that may be visual as well Pit. I was mainly pointing out that everything has NOT been reset. There is no way they could do what they are doing at the levels they show.

Side Note: Is that with every opponent Pit or only certain ones?

Side note: the items have been updated (for me).. it now lost the +8 too :O

It's not a typo. I made a catastrophic error that I found ahead of time and thought I fixed before it went live.

We'll be restoring items from this morning's backups.

I can't apologize enough for this. I know I screwed up, and I know this screws tattoos that gained XP today.

Zenai, I lost half the folks on my fight list. Maybe somethings are working, but some things are definitely not.

my tattoo is totally reset it not doing ANYWHERE near the damage it was doing, Im not sure about the items but Its not good either way...

So the items are rolled back but not any MPR gained, correct?

Everything just rolled back to the last backup?

Nothing's really changed, and we get a little bit of fun excitement for a while until the backup is fully restored!

Now if only armour had been set to +100, I would have had fun trying to 1 shot everyone with Decay! WooT! ;)

Well... we're back.

I restored just the armor (weapons were unaffected), so it's not like I had to rollback the entire site.

I teseted the restore first on the development db, then did it on live.

There are 14 armors that I did not fix, as they were created after the 3am backup. Except for a few junk items, they are all owned by the store, so I'm leaving that as a "don't care". The 4 non-store items are all owned by Fishead. Can I assume that those were test items?

I bought them just to see what would happen if I cleared out the store. So, yes just test items.

FYI, for those interested, there's 68591 armor pieces from this morning that were updated, aside from the 14 new ones from today.

Forgers are going to get screwed on this (like always, I guess). If anyone was forging between 3am and now, please CM me.

All of the armor in the auctiins are base. Is this just coincidence? Also looks like some items were taken out of auctions.

They were spawned that way because of the bug.

Mine seems normal.

Dang, I totally missed the rage against the machine.

I am getting extremely high rewards and my PR is abnormally low. I think there is still a glitch in there.
