The hunt for the D3:CE Begins! (in General)

So I was dumb enough not to pre-order this thing, so starting in the next hour I'm going to just about every single retail chain that people wouldn't normally think to go to in order to pre-order the game. Walmarts and Targets in my area are the first targets, best buy being my final possible chance. Wish me luck! I'll be sad if I can't find a copy. >_>

My one real hope walmart might have it: it wasn't listed as something you could buy on their website till about an hour or so ago (trust me I've been checking all night) It says only sold in stores and stock status isn't available online unlike the regular edition. *Crosses fingers*

Good luck, most people I know did pre-order and got their copy at midnight. Theyve been missing ever since.

I could've had the regular edition at midnight if I wanted, the first gamestop I went to just asking if they happened to have any extra copies of the collectors edition said no, but they did have a few extra copies of the regular one. However I'm only interesting in picking up the CE for this one or else I'll just wait to buy the game or for my friend to give me his copy which he said he'd do cause he likely wont play it (His brother pre-ordered it for him.)

However since I didn't see the CE on walmarts website earlier and I suddenly did after the servers finally went live gives me hope, especially since that's the first place that opens on my list of places to stop by.

I'll try again in 2 days attempting to grab one if people don't pick up their pre-orders and employee's don't get stingy.

Well fell asleep woke up an hour late for walmarts opening but they didn't have it, neither did target. Hoping that best buy will pull through and have an extra copy. -_-

am i the only one that wont even bother looking at D3 gameplay before knowing that I won't get it?

So I checked 4 different stores, was up all night.. no one had extra copies. Nor did anyone want to sell me theirs for $150 -_- kicking myself for not pre-ordering now because I know even if I tried all the stores in the next few days waiting on returns its still a slim chance of finding one.

So I picked myself up a normal copy for now, I'm wondering if Blizzard will honor what they did for digital pre-orders that get CEs with hard copy ones.

I have 3 options:
1.) Hold onto my copy and don't open it and check back at all the stores in the next few days, pick it up then and return this copy. 2.) See if amazon will happen to have it available for a short period of time in the next few days as orders get canceled or come back
3.) Say oh well and just play the game.

I'm not resorting to Ebay unless its under $150 which will be doubtful

What do you guys think I should do?

Well the Collectors Edition is $100 anyway.. so I would've graciously accepted that offer -_-

I'm about to just say screw it and install the game.
