Opposition to Chaotic Serenity by Ka-Tet. (in General)

Zenai has insisted that he has the power to control what I do. It is not true. I have joined with Ka_Tet of the Serene in order to make war against Chaotic Serenity. We are in NO WAY aligned with Chaotic Serenity. We are diametrically opposed to everything they do. We will fight them to the bitter end, and we have already won a major victory: The Chaotic Serenity Brotherhood is no more! Chaotic Serenity is the only clan left of what was, at one point, a brotherhood consisting of 4 clans!

Ka-Tet, for those of you that don't know, means Destiny Group. It is from a Stephen King novel called "The Waste Lands".
Now ,in order to make this name of ours more clearly against Chaotic Serenity, I have re-purposed the name of our clan to mean that we are a 'Destiny Group' whose destiny is to defeat Chaotic Serenity in every way! To arms, my true friends and allies, to arms against Chaotic Serenity and the tyrant Zenai! Rebel against his iron fist! He does not have your best interest at heart, only his own! We are the rebel clan Ka-Tet of the Serene! We will overthrow this tyrant, and wreck the dominance that he has held over the clan leaderboard for so long! We will have our FREEEEEDOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

Really almost every member in the clans have been part of a recruitment effort by me in the first couple of weeks of my return. Yet you had the brotherhood for how long and didn't help any other clan but the one you were in?

Ya know I have to say not only is it hard to wage war when you are not fighting the other clan........but even more so when you are not even in the clan that is supposedly opposing the clan you waging war against........*Slow Claps*

Now, you know the true depths of Zenai's depravity... He caused DarkDemonWolf to kick me from his clan, after he expressly invited me so that we could take the top clan spot. I spent over 600K on joining that clan. I have made a new clan called "Underdog Rebellion". Our philosophy is to grow and become strong however you desire it. My motivation to succeed still stands strong. In time, I will recover from the depression brought on by this betrayal, but I will not forget this lesson: Don't ever get involved with Zenai. Just don't.

*Sigh* You're such a hateful person, Zenai... Every word spews venom and vice. How dare you imply that my emotions are a lie! That I cannot feel things, that a normal person feels! My reasons for leaving your clan brotherhood are not vile in the least. I merely wish to grow better, without being under command of someone that is trying to slow down my growth. My clan war with you serves the main purpose of reducing your clan's score, so my clan can rise above it. You keep insisting that you know exactly who I am. How can you even be serious when you say that? That's ludicrous! Everyone's innermost mind is a private area; how can you say you can see within it? Slow your roll, and think about it logically: did you foresee this whole thing happening? I think not! Right there is proof that you are mistaken, at least a bit, about how my mind works, and how my emotions move me. Who knows how much more you don't know about me, now that we have established reasonable doubt! Give it up!
Seriously, you wonder why I don't like you, when you say such things? Actually Joel I did predict that your addiction would cause strife in the Alliance and I hoped against hope that it would not. I bent over backwards for the deal I made you and even made deals with other people to offset the loss I was taking from the deal I had with you. Ahh but yes once again I am the bad guy no worries I have no problem being the bad guy in this if it makes you feel better.

You keep trying to vilify me in order to have a valid point. In the end it doesn't change the fact that you broke a deal, then you broke Alliance Rules both of which you agreed to wholeheartedly. Any team,league, organization etc will say if you break the rules there is some kind of consequence. Stop being a bad sport that you got bounced for not following the rules. I did not join this game to be social. I joined it to win. Or, do well, lol. Its not an addiction that caused it (wrong AGAIN, about the addiction part, btw) it was my conflicting ideals. I did not join this game to make friends. I joined it to have fun at winning. I joined your clan under the pretense that your brotherhood would help me do just that, but, when I saw that was no longer the case, I decided to strike out on my own. You guys have helped me, and I am grateful for that, but your ideal threatened to erase everything that you had done for me, and make my life on CB into one of boredom and indifference. I saw my fate, in that path, and I rebelled in order to avoid it. You cannot fault me, for this. You told me that this brotherhood was the best place to grow, but that turned out to be a lie. And, in discovering that lie, I decided to leave. I am free to leave any group I want. I don't care about your clan rules, anymore, because I am not in your clan. I LEFT your clan precisely because of your rules! You did not kick me (an impossibility, btw, since I was the leader of a clan before I left) I left of my own accord. I COULD have stayed in Serene Warriors of Chaos and just gathered NUBs to fight you, eventually, but I decided to leave. It was the best thing for me to do in order to grow. I may have lost a couple of clan mates, but I hope they don't hate me for erasing their yearly CPs, in this game called Carnage Blender on the internet. I hope that our bond is strong enough to look beyond the bounds of this gaming world, despite what goes on within it. In other words, I'm sorry zhegao for erasing your record of CPs, I really am! I lost all of mine, too... I'm not even on the first page, anymore, in the yearly standings! Everything, gone. Yeah, I admit this is just a game. A game that I find to hilariously fun, at times like these, but I hold no real ill will towards anybody who I once, or currently, call friend. This is just a game. Play it how you want! Quick question Joel.
If what Zenai says is true that you disbanded a clan in which there were other people, why didn't you just hand over leadership then quit the clan instead ?
Also, CB is not really a game you can "win" anyway, so your goal to do the impossible is, well, kind of impossible. Dominate it, for a while, sure, but not win it.

Soxjr, my last clan member, had left before I disbanded the clan.

Still better ways to handle that Joel. If you had simply talked with the Clan to see who wanted to stay in the Alliance or go with you soon as you were told/opted to leave. Then hand over Leadership much earlier this would not have been an issue.

You had plenty of time to mull all of this over. Hell even with strife between us you could have contacted me or another Alliance Member to hop over there to take the Leadership Mantle. Regardless of how you think about this it would have made me, and others, think better of you for it. So much work just poofed out of existence.

War is war. Do opponents natural think about how the other side thinks of them, Hell no! Opponents do their best to vilify each other. If we each had the cool-headedness to end this nicely, then I doubt this problem would have arisen in the first place! You could have talked to them, and me, about it, couldn't you have? If you really know me, shouldn't you have predicted this, and acted accordingly? More proof you don't know me, right there...

Joel I tried to talk to you, you wouldn't listen in fact I was on ignore for quite a while. Besides just because you can predict someone is unstable doesn't mean you can predict all of their actions, get a grip dude. Many people in the Alliance were predicting you would go ape at any time so it's not like it was a surprise that you did. How far you would take it now that was a surprise. Again what's done is done, can't beat a dead horse etc etc.....

I'm confused because all you do is spam enter fighting only your "wife" whose strategy is conveniently horrible against you. Furthermore, you have her spam enter at the same time you do this so that you do not have to wait for comatose or win against anyone else. In reality, you "play" and "win" less than almost everyone active in this game. At least you've added 3 more people to your fight list. That you fight 1/10th as much as you fight your wife.

I would think if your goal was to have fun winning you'd create a better strategy so that you could win and do well against someone you're not married to. Or maybe it is fun for you to hit enter for 3min fighting 1 character that was designed specifically to lose to you that you never have to worry about catching you, restrategizing, etc.

We could talk about the definition of winning all day, and it still wouldn't change the fact that my MPR is climbing more than anyone at the top. To be clear, my definition of winning is having a higher MPR than everyone. I find particular pleasure in doing it in a way that doesn't require me to try hard. Winning without even trying, don't you think that feels good. It makes me feel superior to those that are trying harder than me, but aren't doing as well. Now THAT's some honesty, right there! Even more people are going to hate me for that one, but I'm trying to clear away all false pretenses, now. I am a competitor. I play to do better than everyone else.

Now, to clue you in on one of my goals, besides top MPR: to become an unbeatable single minion character! Its definitely a possibility, with the rate I am growing. And, if it isn't quite possible, I will hire minions to finish the job! Though, if I ever try to hire minions at around 10 million MPR, then it will take more than a decade to save up enough money to buy them, unless I do something creative to make more money, lol.

I know there are a ton of people jealous of this situation, that I was fortunate enough to create for myself (well, it was mostly Piper who helped me by selling Piper at the Gates to my wife), and I fully expected it. So, enough of you pressing your extremely negative point of view upon me. It will not change how much I am enjoying myself, every day!

Zenai: I'm unstable? I went ape? You're making it look like I had no control over what I did. I have been perfectly sane this entire time. I made this choice, and I'm sticking to it. If not, wouldn't I have apologized by now, and begged you to let me back into the brotherhood? If you knew me, you'd know that I always realize when I've been wrong, and I always apologize soon after. This is not the wrong decision, for me. My conscience is clean. I have made this decision, after following a logical line of thought, based on my goals and my likes/dislikes. I have absolutely no regrets, and my future looks bright, to me. There is no way anyone can stop me, now! I have defied authority and I'm still here! Zenai, you're a supervisor, or something, in your job, right? You're someone with authority, right? Well, how does it feel for me to defy you? To spit on your authority, and in your face! You can't fire me from CB2, lol! The best thing that you could come up with was kicking me out of the clan, and that was actually the most BENEFICIAL thing you could have done, for me! My determination is rekindled, me and my wife are free to farm who we want, and I am able to satisfy my rebellious desire that I feel towards those in authority to me! This is so very satisfying.... To get such a rise out of somebody who was once in a position of authority to me. It makes me feel more powerful, and helps ameliorate the feelings of downtroddeness created by being an underling that had no choice but to follow orders. It brings you down to my level, to see you insulting me, as if I matter enough to be confronted. "Either kill a weakling, or ignore him. Anything else honors him". I read that somewhere, and it stuck with me. This path I chose made me an equal to you, and I have gained true freedom! Those positive qualities of the choice of rebellion far out-weigh everything negative that anybody could think up, or cause to happen. I'll recoup my losses, anyway, since I grow so fast, monetarily and MPR-wise, and the future of my growth looks even brighter than ever! I know I've said some of these things before, but some people either choose to ignore my words, or just simply cannot grasp them. Repetition is key to learning!

Now, as fun as this is, I must get back to planning my strategy for recruitment, as well as strategic usage of BA, so that I can make use of my clan's, often ephemeral, clan bonus, lol.

You claim to be original yet all I see is a spoiled child sitting in a high chair throwing food on the floor. Something we've all done at one point. One thing you lack so far sir is loyalty, something you cannot measure nor understand with childish ways. It in of itself is impossible while only thinking of ones self and goals. Again the building characters, clans and alliances and most of all friendships and acquatices (talk trash to my brother Haloki) is at the core of this "game". You would do well to even attempt at building something other than your self ego.

However, you have given me one thing Joel, a reason to enjoy winning even more.

I can't be the only one who has a problem with that fact that he said Piper helped "him" by selling a character to his "wife."

This wife does not partake in this game in any way besides fighting specifically for your benefit. She has never entered chat or post on forums and all sales have been conducted by Joel on her behalf. In reality, she really serves no purpose in this gaming community except to be Joel's farm.

The fact this is allowed disturbs me greatly. It was bad enough that defensive rewards had to be changed in response to exploitation. Shall we continue letting this loophole go or shoulder all start getting family members to play to our benefit?

It is fine by me if family members want to be people's punching bags xD.

And from a rewards point of view, he is only hurting his growth with his current methods; I won't be explaining how and why tho ;).

While the two threads were orignally some entertaining /popcorn e-drama, things are starting to get a little too heated and personal.

Joel apparently you have gotten to the point where you believe your own self made delusions of grandeur. Which to a point is fine because this is a Role Playing Based Strategy Game.

However if you actually believe it means anything to me that you wanted to go your way you are absolutely insane. You broke a rule, I bounced you for it. You cried no fair tried to skirt me, got out maneuvered every time you tried. You cried no fair again, tried to vilify me. Yet you are the only one looking like a villain. You have tried to claim superiority, and have proven inferiority at every turn.
