BA Regeneration Bug? (in General)

So this is the 3rd week in a row I have run into this and now and am reporting it. After Cache Flush on Monday morning I have noticed that the First Regeneration Cycle no BA is given.

I burn just before 4am to make sure I get all of my Experience. Then wait for the first regeneration of the hour to maximize my CPs. This is the 3rd week I get no BA until 4:20am did something change or is this a bug? Either way I would like some clarity on this please.

I believe that is the resync period ba. It only will regen ba if you missed a few throughout the day.

Ummmm that shouldn't happen, it should only be the regular regeneration cycle. Why reward laziness and punish punctuality?

Sorry, I misconstrued that. I didn't mean if you as a player missed ba physically. I meant if your account had not been properly given the correct amount of ba throughout the day from the server.

Ok Nat thanks for that but what about the complete lack of BA Regenerated @ 4am?

That just means the server gave you the right amount of ba for the rest of the day.

Ok Nat are you saying at 4am there is no BA Regeneration?

No standard regen at cache flush, no

So in other words the only way to have 160 BA after Cache Flush is to plan to NOT have that 6 BA to begin with........

Question: Is this every day or just on Monday Cache Flush?

You really can't plan for a specific amount at 1 am. It varies depending on if the ba count wasn't right that day.

So what the Regen Clock is broken and this was the best fix?

No it is not broken. If everything goes right over the day you will get 0 ba at cache flush. If something occurred to throw it off somehow, it tries to correct at cache flush and you get some amount of ba.

But you still lose 6 BA @ 4am, which is still unclear if this is everyday or only on Mondays.

Also I have noticed that sometimes I get my regeneration anywhere from 1 minute to 19 minutes late for the last month or so since I have been back.

It varies by day, sometimes I have no issue other days all I have is issues. Now don't get me wrong I have gotten all of my BA as far as I can see. I'm just saying it would be nice to have it pinpointed on a time.

It's always been variable. When cache flush used to run long, we'd get BA 10 minutes after it finished, and every 10 minutes thereafter. As the week went on, it would be off by as much as 6 minutes.

Then reset back to close-to-on-the-hour and every 10 minutes thereafter starting Monday morning.

Same was true of the 24-hr. counter on clan points. Sometimes we wouldn't get the "new hour" until a few minutes into it - it never seemed to be X:00 but Y+60 minutes.

How does it work now?

Well before I left on break it was fairly solid on the Regen times. Only at rare times did I ever have an issue with the regeneration times. This is the main reason I decided to address this as it is extremely "loose" in comparison to before.

BA refresh DURING the cache flush has always been wonky, giving between 0 and your normal refresh, seemingly either at random, or having something to do with how long it took the cache to flush. Not entirely sure, but 4:20 has been the first reliable BA refresh of the day ever since I was a NUB :P

I have been playing CB for 10 1/2 years I can't think of a time this didn't exist. Or that the regen time became variable. It's definitely not new.
