Armor Proficiency Bug??? (in General)

Well your local Bounty Hunter is at it again...I noticed when attempting to train AP on my minion that nothing changed in the level or effect of the EC on my minion.

Armor Set: TG,CML,SC,HoD,AoAC,MS total -15% to EO with a BoE +7.5% to EO for a grand total of -7.5%

I have equipped an unequipped the BoE and all my armor and trained and untrained and used BA to see that it casted properly. I have yet to see any change when having AP trained.

Question: Can someone test to see if the damage reduction part of AP when hit by SG is working?

Question: AP should half penalties before the BoE is factored back in correct?

Or maybe i missed everything and it is working properly?

I think this is just a display bug, but it is being looked into.

Would be easy to test if it is a display bug. Just train AP, notice that his EC level doesn't change. Attack someone and see if the EC cast is higher than what the display says it will be. Make sure the person you attack doesn't have an AoF.

Just done that.

AP isn't working.

EC of 85 with nothing on. Add in CML/HoD/TG drops that to 82. Learn AP, still cast for 82. Nothing changes. :(

Yeah, but if you had AP before it broke, it still functions fine xD

So some of my minions have AP and BL. Or they did, I don't know if they still do. Haven't tested in a few weeks since my post.

GL is someone working on fixing this? Is it a priority or something that will be a long fix?

So is anyone on this or should we just remove it from skills?

Well for one it hasn't been working for awhile and just now that "you" realized it doesn't work (you didn't actually find the bug); you are demanding for it to be fixed, immediately.

Secondly, I highly doubt that having it fixed would change anything for your fight list, let alone make a huge impact in anyone's fight list.

Point... should it just be removed and nerf SG effect on AC. Does it really matter "who" found it EoD? There is no demand just simply an acknowledgement that this "has been" brought up before and not fixed hence the "Do you care" not referencing the effort an Admin or anyone else puts into the game but rather "does it really matter" since it is a small part of the game and its effect is small. So again my point will it be fixed or is it "way" down on the "list" dont bother playing around with it move on.

EoD your a great player. Just please do not make the leap that we are being negative that is hardly mine or Haloki's intention.

Sorry, but double posting a response such as "Admins....Do you care?" can easily be taken as a negative. I mean it is pretty much a slap in the face to GL who has been testing the problem to make sure it is not just a display problem.So just from that it should be obvious that the admins do indeed care.

Now, if you are referring to people who can actually fix it, I am sure they care too, but I wouldn't expect a fix any time soon. For example, when the BoE first came out it would give +10% to skills PER +, and not a flat rate which allowed people to get like 30 million UC. This bug stayed around for several months before anyone fixed it.

Compared to that, AP not working is a little speck. Plus, no one has proved that the SG negation of AP is not working.

I had been pushing to get a new item into the game. There's one in existence of it atm.

A mouse over would give an indication of what it might do, and what might be effected by it...

Now, CBs code is nebulous, most admin don't have access to it, and can't really do anything about bugs / changes to CB. And adding new stuff has the potential to break things, especially in ways no one expected.

There's only one of this item atm, becuase it wasn't quite ready for release, a display bug problem.

Sadly it now seems to be a little more problematic than a display bug, which I had spent time and BA to verify.

But no, we don't care...
