Why doesnt CB auction off stuff for new work? (in General)

I saw in the Wiki on the wall of rememberance the player 'DAWG' who was banned for having a clickbot and all his items were auctioned by jon to raise money for equipment and the server. why dont we have something like that witht he good items mr chairman has or TP?

Not much of a Market to do that anymore to be honest. The Items would have to be Mega High End or Appeal to those with USD willing to spend. Bad RL Economy = Bad CB Economy unfortunately. I do wish that we can get back to that point though, it would be awesome to see.

i would guess that jon never did this when he was around to keep people from accusing the administration of finding someone guilty for the profit involved. not doing this also avoids that temptation.

the case with dawg, as well as some others, was a bit different as they admitted guilt when confronted.

My point is not about taking users items for the game, im talking about the already over abundance of items sitting around on TP and mr chairman that have high NW or are rare and sell them.

Jon did this once, IIRC, to fund some server upgrades.
