Problems with build (in General)

I retired my main character to start over since i wasted a lot of exp retraining. I created exactly the same build, but now i always seem to lose while before i barely lost with my 150k score char. Also, in battle i have negative stats that i didnt have before with my main.

Melee Combat
Splinter eviscerated aware6 [943]
Splinter draws strength from his weapon! [-276]
aware6's Guardian Angel smote Splinter (167)

Could someone explain why i receive -276?
The longer the battle lasts the less i lose though.

And i also just noticed my 2010 CB shirt has gone missing...

VA has reduced effect when its level is low relative to the damage done.
If your VA level is below base, due to penalties, it will damage your minion(s).

This looks like it is the case here.

So i should train more VA first before training anything else?

Building Str,Dex, PTH, GA or Haste could help solve the problems you are facing. Of note you may want to watch ppl using EC or Ex/AxBows.
