Proposed Game changes list (in General)
So I see everyone wanting all these changes so I thought maybe it'd be a good idea to list them all in one place. So anything anyone wants to propose post in here and maybe a link to a previous post it was discussed.
-some form of new uc boosting item or a revamp of the Gi to add more than just 10 no matter how much it's upgraded.
-some form of melee weapon that's actually useful other than the MoD
-New item such as orbs. Used in the shield slot but you get boosts to EO/ED/spells
-a new armor that is similar to how the CoBF used to be. Adds no AC but does some form of damage or maybe grants endurance like the ToE.
-Dual wield. This could be an awesome idea if we found a way to balance OP and useless maybe make certain weapons give bonuses while dual wielding such as ST boost.
- some form form of animation for characters such as battling sprites or even just minion pictures with defaults for each item
-In game currency such as what sickone proposed
-bring back the bank in a much more useful manner
-some form of crafting where you spend BA to add special permanent yet replaceable augmentations to items.
I'm just throwing random ideas out there If anyone wanted more details on any certain one I'd be happy to mock something up.

You should probably add in some links of the threads with other people's ideas that were good as well :-)
I'm not sure how to do that I haven't touched HTML in years.
Google and wikipedia give easy examples. Just change the reply text to HTML and check the preview to make sure it is linked correctly.
Yes I know I could look it up. I made this list really quickly on my notepad at work and posted it. Sorry for the inconvenience when I get home ill find links.

How about just some communication from the developer of this game (Jonathan?)
-Whats under development?
- Whats your vision for the future of this game?
-If you're "done" with the game would you consider selling the rights to it?
John has been busy with his company from what I remember. NS is our current master.

His last Post was in 2011 though.
Dual wield. This could be an awesome idea if we found a way to balance OP and useless maybe make certain weapons give bonuses while dual wielding such as ST boost.
Bloodlust is Dual Wield.
Well, now with the ES, the only thing DW would have going for it is application of the ES DoT, while still using a HM/MoD.
Which would probably be a *massive* no no.

Thanks for the nay say there GL but it could be balanced and you know it. I am not saying it would be easy but it can be done.
Possibly to keep from being OP kill other Bonuses inherent in the weapons or dumb them down 50%? Ahh but this was not even brought up was it? Just it's a major no no......sadness incarnate. No wonder ppl don't want to bring things up any more.....to many shooters and not enough targets.
It can't be balanced Zen, ever.
What do we want it to do?
Deal more damage, at the cost of a skill slot.
BL does that.
Deal more damage than BL, but have some kind of drawback.
BL used to do that. It was changed. If you *really* want that, we could bring the old BL back.
That's basically Dual Wield in a nutshell.
Want to combine the OP properties of two Melee weapons? The x2 AS damage and ignore PL of the MoD with the Vorpal of a VB?
I hope you can see why.

Only hint of a light at the end of the novelty-seeking tunnel would be an AP-like skill with lockout of the shield slot and harsh damage penalties for each damage source, but allowing combos of any damage types.
So, for instance, decay+sword, or fireball+ELB, or dual crossbows, or other some-such weird combos on a single minion.
Still not that good of an idea IMO.

Than cannot be balanced ever Zen.
Bull Crap it absolutely can be balanced it is a matter of thinking it through properly end of story. Saying something cannot be done in code is nothing more than I don't want to take the time to do it.
While we're working on NPC's maybe add a form of "boss". A high HP character in different MPR ranges that you can battle with your clan. They could be battled once a week and yield an extremely high xp/cash drop. Possibly even a LOW % chance to drop a supporter item or a moderately upgraded rare. I'm not sure how difficult this would be to code but it could add a new dynamic. Weekly quests could be tied to these characters.
An example would be
Galrog the Red Dragon of Myre
HP 100,000,000 FB and AMF also trained
Heavy tank armor
Bull Crap it absolutely can be balanced it is a matter of thinking it through properly end of story.
Go on then. ;)
You won't be able to, as BL does it already.
Want to lock out shields, what do they do? Reduce damage. So you take an increased amount of damage from using DW.
BL used to do that. It was removed. Add taking increased damage back to BL and there you go. DW without Shields.

Sickone has already shown a way thanks for playing. I really like how you seem to think that you are the only one to have the answers to any thing GL. Again you do not so please stop attempting to shut ppl up because of this arrogant thought process. Just because you cannot think of a way does not mean others cannot.
See my response in the other thread Zen.
Sick's ideas aren't for Dual Weilding, but for melding say Melee Weapons with Melee DD.
Which is *totally* different.

I haven't used BL since CB1, and I didn't know it got rid of the damage increase to the user. that was one of my points for DW that you can cross off the list
February 20 12:12 PM EST
GL my point still holds, again just because you (or even a crew of people couldn't figure it out before still) doesn't mean that only YOU(or THEY) could ever have the answer. It is still an arrogant assumption. Oh and just to throw it out there since you enjoy calling me out I NEVER said I had the answer just that you cannot assume that there was not one out there....let's make sure to keep things straight here before you jump to some more assumptions GL.
No need for the double responses Zen.
Whats under development?
This is something I think is a good idea, and have mentioned. I'd be happy to maintain such a thread.
I just don't think that secrecy for the 'big reveal' is really such a great idea at this time.
February 20 1:53 PM EST
No need for the double responses Zen.
Then Stop double answering me fair enough?
My answers in this thread have *no* content simialr to the answers in the other thread.
In reality, I'm asking you to stop spamming, and keep your nearly identicle posts contained to a single thread.
February 20 2:00 PM EST
GL: You were talking about the exact same thing at the time and that was DW.
Zen, *please* read back up. Look at your responses in both threads, look at mine...
February 20 2:09 PM EST
Actually I have, I digressed on sickone's idea but said my point still holds which it indeed does GL. My answer to this one is the same as in the other that is concerning DW. Now it you want to change the thought/conversation topic back to what it originally was or to something different be my guest.
