Trying to get back (in General)

Hey, I haven't played this game since 2008.

I want to start trying to get back into it?

which of my 3 chars would be best to do that with or would it be better to start a new one and try to re learn things?

First welcome back!

Second yes a new character, just not right now. Use your old characters to get back into the groove and catch up on some reading in the Wiki and talk to other players for strat tips. This will also give you time to plan things out as well.

Third check out the clans and pick one. Some of the old ones are still around like Hidden Agenda, Hell Blenders, Wasting Time and The Knighthood all of which needs help and could use another player.

i am thinking, depending how much has changed, that it will be similar to what I have because of all the items i have lean towards at certain build (at least they did in 08 lol)

would it be best to try to sell my items and form a whole new char strat with gear or just keep what I have and work my strat around it.
i also have close to 3mil on in the piggy bank haha

Go with the shocking grasp build. MM and FB are both difficult to build around at higher levels since their damage was severely nerfed. So was melee so don't even think of going that route. Pathetic!

You can stack with a RoBF or Rune of Solitude.

Don't know if this was around back then, but you can convert your tattoos into different types now provided you have a base version of the one you want to convert to. (Well actually it does not need to be a base version, but is is a lot cheaper that way).

Experiment. Definitely experiment. Hang out in chat. Talk strategy with people. Tweak. Experiment more. I'd love to talk strategy - whenever I'm here, feel free to PM me. Or send me a CM, and I'd be glad to help, as would many of the people here.
