Attention Admins: Dex Issue (in General)

Ok my Char Horror has a LOT of Dex, #3 in game to be exact. Now I have been fighting a few ppl and have noticed a MASSIVE drop in my Dex. At first I was like AxBow or EC but for several Opponents this is not the case at all. I lose roughly 9 Mil Dex when going against these opponents with nothing to show as to why this is happening. Am I missing something, Is something broken or did I accidentally break something with my char? It's happened before with a few different things so I thought I would ask.

I'm pretty sure dex drops significantly during melee rounds if you're using a ranged weapon; this value will be the one displayed on the post combat summary. Not sure if this applies to you but hope it helps :)

Gah it didn't show like I was hoping it would >.< That could be the case true but it is the exact same drop in Dex as the rest of my opponents that hit me with EC. SO I am wondering if something is broken.

Using Ranged Weapons during Melee Rounds
Ranged weapons suffer from various additional penalties when used in Melee Rounds:

80% penalty to weapon PTH, weapon BTH, and minion Dexterity for Slings. NOTE : the PTH reduction is multiplicative. If you have, for instance, a (+200) sling, you will have a +40 PTH, not +120.
60% penalty to weapon PTH, weapon BTH, and minion Dexterity for Bows.
40% penalty to weapon PTH, weapon BTH, and minion Dexterity for Crossbows.

The DX reduction also makes it much more likely to be hit by enemy physical damage users.
Bows fire only every other round of melee instead of each round of melee (NOTE//unknown : what other ranged weapons have this particular drawback ?)
Switching from a ranged weapon to a two-handed melee weapon makes you skip attacking in the first round of melee (UC is not considered a 2h melee weapon)

Also note it just started showing up like this for me. I did a small retrain on Magical Aura and bam it starts showing up. Although the rounds are the same as are the end results. As I have broken things in the game with my character before you can see why I am asking. I'll check a few other things to see if it changes though.

ok fought a few ppl after renting a melee weapon and well the dex pops back up so maybe something was broken before and the retrain actually fixed it. Stranger things have happened here in CB Land.

Is it at all possible that certain fights are making it to melee whereas before they weren't? I can see nothing wrong with your character or how the fights are working out.

Yes they were making it to melee but the Dex Drop was not showing on the post battle stats. However it did show after a minor retrain and popping on a melee weapon cemented it for me. As before it's not like my character or items has not broken something before. But since this turned out the opposite.I am actually happy about it.

Short Story version: My retrain fixed something I was not paying attention to that was broken.
