Buying and selling an AoI nets you over 500k profit. Is this supposed to happen?

It is a known bug. Abusing it gets you disqualified from the tourney.

You would have to talk to Xeno about it. It is the start of the tourney so you probably didn't gain any advantage in my opinion. But I am not the one running the tourney :P

^ I honestly didn't even know about that bug, probably should have adjusted the prices of some of the items lol.

Don't worry about it, I don't really see that being a factor in this particular tourney as the bonus is so high and the effort it would take to abuse that to your advantage is way too time consuming.

However that being said.. don't abuse it people. ;P I don't want to have to adjust the prices now that it's already started.

Prices for AoI and AoJ have both been set to 500k to prevent abuse. (I'm basing it on the fact that these both are set at +10 and worth 1m nw.)

Is it possible to retire a tourny character I made and make a new one? Will it have the same bonuses and BA start?

^ Yep, you can retire it and start a new one no problem. It will be just like starting a new T-Char, so you'll start with 1600 BA

and yet the decay doesnt fire even against teams with no AMF

are you dying before melee? it's not a ranged attack

nope the decay minion makes it to melee

against a team with no AMF - first round of Melee ... and its like that for all melee rounds its alive for against any team

Probably over your ENC limit.

^ Check your ENC, Decay wont fire if you are even over .0000005 enc (I dont even know if that's possible.. but yeah)

I don't know why I am inferior to a few of you with 1800 more victories but it angers me. I know you guys can't possibly be getting that much better challenge bonus' to negate all my extra fights!

I didn't wanna come right out and say it but that is definitely what I was thinking.

^ Most likely more favorable fights and not worrying about the highest challenge bonus possible, because there is a gap in the game where it's near impossible to get one without a proper strat to abuse a few higher end characters.

It really boils down to fighting smarter rather than harder. Although now that I have already won, I don't see much point in doing either of those :)

Well I don't know about all that...unless you're hiding a lot of XP right now I thinking LordSushi has a better chance of winning.

The tourney was a great refresher for me personally. I wouldn't mind participating in similar, more or less difficult ones as well. I enjoyed being able to buy any armor and weapon i wanted although, since i caught it rather late i only tried one type of char. Thanks.
