damage (in General)

Is it normal to do more damage in ranged than in Melee?

I'm hitting on average from 3-6k in range and only 1-2 in melee.

Have a elven bow 6x9 +3 and morgul hammer 84x1

I think I read somewhere that the numbers 6 and 84 in front of the weapons respectively are their powers in comparison with other weapons of that class (ranged or melee), and not both ranged and melee weapons together. If that makes sense... CB is so hard lol...

Rave is right. Range weapons n melee weapons gain dmg differently.

Yes, most range weapons base damage tend to be much higher than any melee weapon, with the ELB having the highest base damage in the game I believe, so naturally a x9 ELB would do more then a x1 MH. Something to that affect anyway.
