Honest criticism here, please do not take offense. Very first thing I noticed in the beginning was what sounded like to me that the guitar(s) was(were) not in tune. This may not be the case, but that's what it sounded like to me.

The drums dont really match up to most of the song IMO, and their levels need to be set slightly lower (if you did this all yourself).

Also there is a portion around 1 minute where the drums cut in (actually almost sounds like the effect is using a brush of the tom or something similar) It sounds a little off, clashes with the flow of the song a bit.

After that things kind of clean up a bit, though the tonality of the song kind of messes with me a bit, and there are a few parts where I dont feel the entire piece meshes well (mostly due to sound levels and balance)

The end was pretty sweet. :)


By all means, don't take this the wrong way, I actually enjoyed the song and I believe I've listed to your past work as well and this seems to have come quite a long way since then.

As a musician myself, who's been playing guitar for the past 13 years, I can assure you anything that I say is strictly constructive criticism for bettering your future recordings and jam sessions :)

All that being said, nice work.

Btw, I just went back to listen to 'Dreaming Of', that's a great piece of work my friend.

you do have a keen ear x] i was listening to it more later this day and i did start to wonder if it was out of tune

as for the drums, ahh how i wish i still had my drum program haha. (not the cleanest drummer i gotta say hehe)
