RIP Mesoshort (in General)

We heard back from the detectives, and here is the story - they argued Wed night at his apt, he chased her into the bedroom closet with a knife and stabbed her twice in the neck, he did not call 911, he called his mother the next afternoon, she got him a lawyer, and the lawyer turned him in to the police Friday morning. Unfortunately since he left her in the closet for a few days, she is in bad condition and we are not going to be able to see her or have an open casket. The medical examiner hasn't released her yet, but it looks like we are going to do a service maybe on Wednesday. Ivan is in jail and has been charged with murder, he will make his plea sometime this coming week. I will let you know when funeral services will be.





This happened this past week, the family doesn't know im posting this, wanted to let CBLand be informed.

This rings a bit hollow for such a loss, but my condolences to the family.

Depending on the state this is judged in, I hope this Ivan guy will get convicted of at least second degree murder so he can rot in prison for a long time, and not just plea-bargain guilty of voluntary manslaughter and possibly be out in as little as 2 years.

Hey guys, if you want to send her something, I am going to send her flowers. Her funeral service is this thursday. Also it appears that she didn't have life insurance, so her daughter is not in a nice position right now either. So a fund has been started to get her daughter a college fund or something. I think you would need to contact me directly to get that info though. I wish we could do something more then send flowers. It stings to lose someone like this. :(

A memorial service for Brianna will be held this Thursday, July 11th, at 7 pm at Waters Road Church of Christ in Pasadena, TX. I plan on attending the service. If you would like me to pass on kind words to family I'll attempt to do so. I've already made arrangements to be there on Thursday so I hope that I'm able to be there for Kaiya (BriAnna's daughter).

Very sad, she brought Joy into the chat room all the time. My condolences to those that knew her.

Just let Kaiya know that some of Brianna's friends on the internet plan on sending her some money for her college fund. If you want to send her money, you can send it paypal to me (verifex@gmail.com). I'm planning on writing a check and sending it off to their family. I only wish there was more I could do. :(
