Are you kidding me? (in General)

First let's start this with I never complain.

That being said, these bot checks are out of control sometimes. Upwards of almost 10 checks in 80 ba. I understand it's random but I do believe that it's about time we updated our checks to something more or less relative to our community.

1. We do not have even remotely close to the number of actives we used to have. Our already small community is dwindling daily.

2. Honestly now what is the threat of a bot user? Getting to use every single bit of ba? We have several users that achieve this without using outside means. I doubt the effect is significant let alone game changing.

3. Several games I have played in the past and even a few I play now are much more "security" friendly. Typically you are checked before your stream of actions. Once. Not several and I'm sure a few of us have hit a dozen times in one round of ba usage. This method still verifies a human user before actions are taken.

In my opinion there is no reason why this couldn't be changed with the small collection of old timers and few new guys/girls that we have here.

I apologize for the rant but I did think it was fair to bring up otherwise I wouldn't have. I'd like to hear other's thoughts as well. Thanks.

I can't say I have seen quite that frequency recently but there are times that are frustratingly close.

In regards to the system of making a single check and then allowing actions I could see that working nicely.

Upon your first fight you receive a standard botcheck And then for a set period of time, fifteen minutes appears suitable, you cannot receive another one. Then when you initiate another fight after that period you receive another check.

This would require a human to be present to initiate fighting and while a bot could take over from there that could be remedied by reducing the interval to five minutes or so.

Having the bot check expire after a certain amount of time is much preferable to it being a random chance.

I hate the bot check and would be glad to have an updated system. I type poorly when I'm sober and I don't even want to know how many I have failed while tipsy. However The fact that ppl sell cbd for usd requires that there is a system in place and as unsuitable as it is I'd rather have it then not. I agree with poster and this game is dwindling so I think if any effort is put into this game it should be spent else where. :-)

I wonder, is NS or any other coders still around here? I would love to see something to get CB modernized. Starting with chat, the java chat is an embarrassment at this point, and it needs to be updated to javascript. I have some ideas, but not enough free time to implement them. :(

What about supporting for a year equals no bots during the support period?

How about no bot checks for anybody at all anymore unless we actually start having serious bot problems?

That, I could live with :)
