Revert to Java 6 or 7 or run the New Chat Appellate:

Anyway to access it from a mobile browser?

Ok bringing this back up because I'm still having issues... I found an of version of java on the web then I tell it to run anyway despite it being out of date, however, when I do it tells me that my security settings have blocked running the application because it is out of date or expired version of java
Does anyone know WTH I'm doing wrong here or what security setting that might be because I sure as heck cant find it.

The old chat is so broken due to the java the client was written in being so outdated that browsers don't even support it. NPAPI is natively blocked by chrome, you can't even over ride it anymore. Basically, it's shot. The link Zenai listed is a working chat client but it's finnicky also. With the programmers checking in once a year, there's no chance it will be fixed. I'm a network admin myself and would love to help, but those requests usually go unanswered at this point, seemingly anyways.

ok and here it was me just thinking that it was just me being computer illiterate. (only slightly joking) Thank you well at least the forums and chatmail work pretty well
