How many active players do we have in CB (in Off-topic)

Im a returning player, was never very competitive, but when I inspect players around my level always the last login date is, in some cases many, many years ago.

Just wondering what the active member count is and just what level they hang out in.

That said, there's definitely not that many who actually play. I would say in the realm of 12 people actually spend their BA.

Im Shocked and saddened by the appealing low number. When I started in 2006 the forum was buzzing with people, posts flying every which way and the exchange rate was $1million CB = $10USD with no problems finding buyers. There were people queuing for forge work.

Now I feel like im kicking around corpses by myself. I could have kept my MySpace account if I wanted that.

Im also saddened that I make up between 5 and 10%, depending on how it works things out, of active players and I still dont get a damn thing in the monthly drops. The gods hate me.

I've seen several new people come and go in the 5 months I've been here. It seems like people quickly realize the following:

The owners of this game have a Love / Hate relationship with it. They don't want to take time to update it and they don't want to sell it / shut it down.

So You'll find two types of active players here now:

1. The Diehards: Vet Players, Old accounts, trying to squeeze out every bit of Net worth and MPR they can until the game shuts down. They can't let this account go they've put too much effort into it.

2. The Wealth Builders: Vet Players, New Accounts trying to amass as much Net worth as they can by running non stop NUB's.


As far as I can tell, I'm the only "new" player that plays. But I'm a masochist.

my 2nd NUB i hafin fun get ya a NUB too ..just 11 bucks and be on yer way to some CB cash and play around with some strata geeee whizzes...11 bucks thats less than 2 dollars a month for somethin you can love to hate.. cant even get an ugly date for 2 bucks anymore :)


nubs can make about 500 to a billion CB dollars in a 6 month run

All we're missing is a mobile interface and a few tweaks to balance - facts are that's still a lot missing

I'm playing just to waste 5 to 15 mins of my daily life :D

Came back, played a little bit, ran out of time to play. (and remembered how much I hated bot checks :P )

Since I didn't play in a decade or so, I'd say I'm new as well :P

I haven't played in forever. I just came back today to see if this thing was still active or not. Thought i posted earlier but i guess i didn't.

Randomly thought of the game and hey, my account still works and is as far along as I remember! Looks like a lot of things changed (lol).
