Hidden PR bonus versus Challenge Bonus (in General)

I'm trying to track down an old thread talking about the benefits of dropping PR and the bonus to rewards that comes from increasing overall power. I think someone tried to explain the balancing act required but I haven't found it yet!

I would love to see more on this subject, one that probably fascinates every CB player at some point in their blender lives. :)

So glad you found this, now I can dig deeper. But it doesn't look like he provided any real data. It's like wish list of what he wants it to be.

I'm not saying he didn't do the work, I'm saying, he forgot to leave a link. Or whatever happened. But examples are not sufficient in this case.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding of this is that to get maximum Fight rewards you should pump your PR as high as possible, while still having a 100% Challenge Bonus. If it's not as simple as this, please let me know.

That's precisely my understanding, however at high levels you mostly get the choice between 5% challenge bonus or 0% challenge bonus depending on PR

If I remember the thread correctly I thought there was a sweet spot between your PR, bonus, and also their PR.

The goal was to have your PR set up in a way that maximizes your bonus while also maximizing the average PR you can take down. This didn't always mean getting your PR as high as possible.

I'm not sure if Natasha posted any kind of formula other then showing their growth graph growing faster then others.

Yeah I think the balancing act is where I'm flummoxed

With an RoE and dropping 300m in NW (exbow) I can see 40% challenge bonuses from a number of opponents (with the currently artificially inflated scores mind you)

with my full setup I max out at maybe 15%, but get as low as 10%
