Where the hell is the singularity in this list?

-- AdminQBnovice

you dislike my list nov?

-- Lochnivar

That's what the LHC will kill us with Nov!

;)

Teleportation has already happened, IBM moved matter across a room like 6 years ago...

I'm not entirely displeased Loch, I just think that the most important developments likely to appear any time soon were left off of it.

-- AdminQBnovice

If I claimed I knew what I was doing I might take offense, but honestly nov I am not exactly super knowledgeable in this area.

Just having a little fun.

(what do you expect from someone who uses xkcd.com as a learning resource, lol)

-- Lochnivar

Duhh..

Nov I move matter across a room every morning XD

-- AdminTitan

Interesting list Loch!

Nanobots were made way before IBM moved matter across a room(they were just not efficient enough to be used long term or on a large scale for the cost of making them). Although I do have to agree there are other things that probably should have been added to this list.

Better Poll

Should of just done two things:

Zombies or Vampires

-- Wraithlin

damn loch straight to hades for trying to have a fun poll! what were you thinking, mister?

-- Admindudemus

not teleportation, well not my teleporation skill atleast

-- Angel of Death

Space elevator sort of needs nanobots to be feasible. Orion is illegal according to international laws. That really only leaves nanobots.

-- AdminNemesia

Teleportation already happened

We got teleportation from the guys at IBM R&D back in 1999 (April timeframe)

-- AdminNightStrike

Teleportation....

Considering that Space Elevators and Project Orion would be considered applied as opposed experimental I rather meant the same about Teleportation.

As in outside of a lab and further than across a room. And at least a coffee cup in size.

-- Lochnivar

I have faith...

...in the LHC.

Confused

So these are changes to CB ?
How would teleportation work ?
The space elevator - thats an increase in storage for gear - right ?

-- Phrede

Well Friid,

Space elevators DO increase storage.
Teleportation reduces ranged to 3 rounds from 5
Project Orion allows you to hire a 5th minion
Nanobots negate your opponent's armour bonuses (+50 TSA = 0% STR boost)

-- Lochnivar

You were all wrong, duke nukem forever came out first, whoda thunk
