As the post says, is DB or EB better for tanks? And please explain your reasoning.

yeah CML's give good AC.
IMO DB is better for mages :)

CML is best for tanks because of their immense AC.

It also depends on whether you're going heavy or light tank. If your tank is an archer then you don't want the penalties of the heavy armour. But if you're going heavy tank then CML's and an adam can give you well over 100ac on their own for fairly low investment via forging/blacksmith.
