we have the normal crappy xbows that just do damage. then we have a xbow that drains DX. and last but not least we have one that drains ST. but haven't you ever wanted a xbow that would do something to a mage? maybe a Vampiric Crossbow [4X1] (+0) base. Drains HP, and gives it to you. now doesn't that sound like a decent idea?

Well, you can just use seeker bolts and do damage to mages.
i know that, but you can use slayers and you still got a -DX or -STR enchantment on exbows and axbows
VA used to be applicable in ranged in cb1 but it was stopped. Perhaps Vampiric Arrows/Bolts would be fun.
in seeker/slayer variety right? =)
then again, you would be able to use them with a ax/exbow.

If you use seekers in an ax or exbow they take priority of the nature of the bow itself.
