How many rares do you have? (in General)

It seems like some people are blessed and have LOADS but others have none... just wondering :) is it just luck?

I've got a Katana, a Compound, A ToJ, A MgS, and a couple lesser tattoos. Only spent CB2 on them (besides supporter items) I'm pretty proud =)

All (bar one) of my current rares have been obtained through camping (mainly) and trades.

With camping...luck is very helpful :o)

I have about 47 compound bows.

EBs, EGs, HoI, ToE, 2X ToJ, ToI, MS, MC, MCM, Morg, Katana, Exbow, Exec, MgS, Comp and the only thing i bought with USD was the Morg (and i made that money back anyway).

47!!!? (Thats keeping their market value high then I suppose? :D )

True, luck is good for camping. I've managed to get a couple of things myself but sold them. Just completed my shopping list for my next Single Tank strat (it took a while):

Adam, SC, TGs, CMLs, MithS, and HoD.

BoNE and AxBow for dessert...

Can't begin to think how much it would cost to equip a full TTTT team!

i got 2 MCs, 2 ToJs, a MgS, an exbow, an exec, and a kantana :), and a 350k debt o.o

Some of you are simply LOADED.

I have managed to collect an exbow, a katana, a HoD, a MS, and of course the ToJ I got for being a supporter.

I would guess the cost of equipping a full tank team, it would be roughly 500 usd per Tank or 25 million cb2 x 4, so you are looking at 2K usd or 100 usd cb2, that is if you equip them with all the best. :)

I have a Exec, Katana, Compound Bow, 2xToJ, EB, and a MgS.

I've paid about $70 USD, $16 for supporter items, 25 for EB, the rest for cash to insta/forge. Sometimes I think I am crazy to do this, but how else can you get decent equipment without camping.


By the way, for you successful campers out there - how often do you check and at what time of the day do you do it. I would think about once per minute during the wee hours would work the best.

Camped.....Two Exbows, 5 compounds, cornuthaum, ToA, 3 LToI, LToS, i have two MgS (one from lucky # guess in raffle), katana, TSA, CML's, and a few THF's... Haven't bought anything yet....lol

From camping: Adam, Cloak of Balrog Flame, chain mail leggings, Mithril Shield, trollskin, BoNE, tattoo of flame, lesser tattoo of flame.
Supporter items: ToJ and MgS
Traded camped cloak of the Istari, Helm's, Beleg's for my BTh, trading an as yet to be camped rare(s) for the exbow.
Sold a camped katana after getting better melee weapons, sold a couple of ToI's, Adam, lesser tattoos, ThF's and a compound.

Yeah, it costs battle allowances, but IMO, camping is one of the best ways to build your arsenal.

What rares to little ole me have? I have a Katana, Compound Bow, ToA, CML, Tulkas, HoD, MS, Mage Shield, Combat Gi, LToA, LToE... i used to own a ToJ, Helms, Axbow. Only USD i put into the game was for the Supportership... I even bought the MgS for CB2$. Haven't made a penny off of CB2 ( or 1 for that matter ) and dont plan too.

I don't get how some people get so many rares (ok, I do, but it frustrates me) . While I could have bought several rares for the price of my Morgul Hammer, that is all I have outside of supporter items :/

I've got a BoNE, ELBow, HoD, DBs, ToA, ToJ and a MgS.. and I think thats it :-P

One Tattoo of Endurance I was lucky enough to find in the store.

All were camped or traded camped items and cb2 for, except the MgS and BGs (which were bought with USD I got from selling a camped item) :o)

No USD, no camping, no forging; I only bought these few items with the money I earned from fighting.

I have the worst luck camping. I found it more lucrative to just fight then to try and sell leathers and cabs which is all I ever seem to find in there.

By they way does this seem like a lame attempt to make a FS/WTB thread for free?

I doubt that was the original intention but I'd put money down that some deals have been made due to this thread.

Everything was from camping except for 1 HG, 1 ToJ, 1 Exec, 1 CML and 1 Mgs. Most of this came before the beginning of March, when lesser tattoos started showing up as rare spawns. Enjoy.
