DB naming question (in General)

Help please.

I know it says if you name armor it says "Naming armor allows it to absorb 4% extra damage."

Now DB's do not add to AC (except the base 6 value). Will naming DB's increase their evasion ie lets say you have a set 6+50. If they are named will just the AC bonus work on the 6 (base value) or on the 50 also (giving a 52 effective evasion).

I think by reading the naming page its the former and not the latter but any help will be appreciated.

In Cb1 it gives a bonus to Evasion, so I guess its the same here.

Can someone please confirm that?

confirmed: for DBs it gives a bonus to evasion.
