Bug in new user bonus? (in General)

I created a new character a month and 1 week after I created my account but this character does not seem to be showing new user bonus. Older character I received from someone seemed to show it though, even the brute character I had showed it( I sold that one today) Anyways whats the deal with this newbie bonus, is there some period when a character has to be made in order to get the bonus? I might be receiving the bonus without it showing up. So if Jonathan could look into this that would be great.

I was always under the impression that the New User Bonus applied to the user's join date, and was unrelated to character creation dates.

Yes but my problem is that it is not displayed on the new character, it was displayed with a link on the old character when I did battles and just said new user bonus 80% while forging, but that is not shown on new character, so yes it is possible im getting the bonus but it doesnt show it which is the problem.

nope hasnt ended, just on this character if i hit fight it doesnt show it, but on the brute character or even an older character I had it showed the bonus.

how do you know that it didn't end yet?

i know it didnt end from looking at the bonus from when fought with brute, it showed expiration date of may 24 10 17 pm EDT

from what i have heard it only applies to new users who create a new character. not old users starting over with a new character

Perhaps reading and understand what you have read are a major lacking feature of CB?

He said he gets the bonus on one character and not the other, it has nothing to do with his account being young or old.

However, the new user bonus only pertains to characters YOU created yourself and not one's transfered to you. If this is the problem you are having then, it is not a bug. However, if you are not getting your bonus on a character you created and you are still supposed to be getting the bonus, then yes it is a bug.

mrwuss: he made ALL of his characters himself so perhaps read better yourself also if you say so to other people :)

And I left it open for both responses, so again, I trade the reading back to another.

Maybe the new user bonus only applies to accs that are still in shire, that is where the character has to be made in order for new bonus to apply.
