BrandonLP April 28 2005 11:22 PM EDT

Most people I go to school with are in debt way more than that.

LumpBot April 28 2005 11:27 PM EDT

I'm in debt 2.4 mill. I'm too scared to put USD in the game because I'm poor enough with college as it is =P

House April 29 2005 12:11 AM EDT

Spaceman..you forgot to send that 100k to me..so your still at 2.5 :)

Mags April 29 2005 12:20 AM EDT

I've tried to make several CB purchases in USD, but failed every time because I'm a frugal son-of-a-rat. Thus far, Brock is clean(and it shows).

In mundi-ex-blender, $100k in liquid assets and scared witless of going in debt at the present point in macro even if that debt's in the form of a mortgage. I don't like the way things are trending and feel better keeping the reserves denominated in foreign stacks, danke schoen. ;D

I'll certainly +1 that note on how much debt my friends who went to college are carrying these days. It's surreal and terrible.

maulaxe April 29 2005 5:44 PM EDT

Special J April 29 2005 5:55 PM EDT

-In Game
Never owed anyone any money.

-Out of Game
Is this including or excluding illegal transactions?

If it's excluding then I owe $0.

Otherwise I owe about $500, and leave you with the comment guns are for wusses.

On the positive side, someone owes me $5565 for robbing my house, which he is paying back in $19 installments apparently. So, I'll be getting $19 checks until I'm 43.

haha I have a £12,000 student loan that I have to pay back when I leave Uni, with a -£1,500 overdraught too and Im only 20 :(

Relic April 29 2005 6:33 PM EDT

Let's start with assets....< br /> I have 20k in cash. < br /> I have 130Kish in stocks.< br /> I own a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8.< br /> I have a current salary of 75K a year, plus stock options.< br />< br /> Now let's look at my liabilities...< br /> I owe 8K on my 2003 VW Passat 1.8L Turbo< br /> I owe 140K on my mortgage.< br />< br /> I am only 28. I think I am doing well for my age.

Relic April 29 2005 6:34 PM EDT

What the heck? Why didn't my break tags work, I selected HTML...

Bubo [DTC of Bubo] April 29 2005 6:52 PM EDT

Glory, the break tag should be </br> not < br />. The slash goes in front, and there are no spaces inside the <>.

Also, I really wish we had a <nospellcheck> that was usable with the Plain Text posting option. If I switch to HTML, then it parses the break tag instead of displaying.

Relic April 29 2005 7:12 PM EDT

<br /> is a fully correct break tag. I use it all the time. It is actually the most correct way of writing it unless you write something like <br></br>, but <br /> is the equivalent of <br></br>.

Will [Retired] April 29 2005 7:20 PM EDT

< BR > < /BR > is not right, it isn't a bounded command, its just a statement. Its not like < B >I want this text in bold< /B >. Just put < BR > whenever you need a new line. Thats it.

For two breaks you put < BR >< BR >

...and thats what it gives you :)
