AdminJonathan May 3 2005 1:43 PM EDT

damage reduction changed to AC/Endurance/Protection, in that order

QBsutekh137 May 3 2005 1:46 PM EDT

For the sake of completeness, can you re-cap what it used to be?

AdminJonathan May 3 2005 1:50 PM EDT

AC/P/E

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] May 3 2005 2:12 PM EDT

:/

How does that change anything?

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] May 3 2005 2:13 PM EDT

Ah... Doesn't change the calculations at all, but makes it slightly harder to reduce damage to your ToE cap...

Mags May 3 2005 2:15 PM EDT

GL is precisely right. When you combine this with the ToE damage reduction change, the net is that armor becomes a lot more important to making a ToE useful, which aims them further away from low-NW and light armour wearing chars(read: SMTOE's). I like it.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] May 3 2005 2:16 PM EDT

But better when used in a team on your high AC wearing tank.

QBRanger May 3 2005 2:20 PM EDT

But since a TOE works on all minion you can equip a large TOE on an enchanters and have very heavy armor on your tanks and get a benefit.

For instance I have a 203 AC wall/cobf minions. Thats 40% reduction before the cap on a TOE applies. (melee, i know for magic its less).

Very powerful change for multi-minion TOE teams, not the order but the TOE effects.

Admin{CB1}Slayer333 May 3 2005 2:23 PM EDT

i was under the impression ToE only affected the minion wearing it?

Admin{CB1}Slayer333 May 3 2005 2:24 PM EDT

never mind that, didnt see the other changelog :P

AdminShade May 3 2005 2:29 PM EDT

*is glad he has at least SOME AC on his ToE tank ;)
