Questions about Bloodlust (in General)

From the spell and skill descriptions page:

Bloodlusted Minions inflict tremendous damage with physical attacks during melee rounds, but take increased damage from physical and magical attacks in return.

Question 1: Do bloodlusted Minions take increased damage during ranged combat?
Question 2: Does the percentage effect reported indicate the percent of damage increase going both ways? Or another way to ask would be: Is the reported effect equal to the percentage of damage increase, and, is the effect on received damage the same?

1) No.

2) The damage taken has something to do with the effect, but you do not take 120% extra damage if you have 1.20 BL, i believe it was somewhere around 30-40% of the effect for extra damage taken

1) Great.
2) Okay, what about damage dealt with melee weapons, and its corollary, damage dealt during melee with a ranged weapon?

From what I understand, Blood Lust can't be used with a ranged weapon, even in melee.

I have noticed that BL minions take a lot more damage from GA.

I've noticed first hand that the points in VA and BL come short of hitpoints (and a 1.00 archery on standard tank). This makes it kinda risky to use

I'm no CB scholar but, if Ranger's statement is true, a nice big Dispel Magic would be a great partner with Bloodlust.

this site should explain 1 and 2 look at the attribute help page ;)

and as for the GA + BL thing, this is correct GA can make a Bloodlusted minion get up to 60% more returned damage as opposed to the normal 40%.
I will do some testing on it but it will take me some time. :)

Thanks Shade, once again your site comes in handy. That's exactly what I was looking for.
