I think my feelings about it are well known, no need to rehash it.

However, for new characters, its very easy, Mage Blender. Just make a mage, fight away, make money and later, much later convert to a tank. Any character under 100k should never use armor or a weapon, IMO. Whats the sense?

Or better yet, use the NUB to get a massive amount of cb2, then just buy a higher MPR character when the NUB ends. That is unless your character made with the NUB already beats 95% of the characters our there like a few already do. By that time you should have a massive amount of cash stored up, far more than those playing from the beginning.

Or even better yet, just equip yourself with all the armor/weapons you can buy/rent. Get a massive PR weighing you down and see 1xp, 1cb2 rewards and laugh yourself to death.

BTW, for all those without a sense of humor, the last idea was a joke.

buy a big ToF, and then have all your newly created minions just come along for the ride.

big ToF adds allot of PR people actually want to make their own char, ya know?

The horse is dead, wait and see what change month has in store and stop beating the poor dead horse. When you beat a dead horse, you just look like a zombie.

Why not make it a stuggle to start over. If your a pro then you can use tricks like the ToF idea. If your not a pro, then you get a NUB and your forced to try out many things, but you get a bonus to keep you going.

And it's NOT that hard to start over, I've done it twice.

Get yourself a sling and you make it to 5k mpr without a fight, because most noobs don't even have a ranged weapon.

Instead of equiping even a base katana, go grab a rapier for a little while, then a main Gauche, then a claymore, battle axe, and so on.

It's not that hard to start over, it's hard to start over without the advantage of all your old equipment.

In CB1 it was Make a Tank until 500K PR. Rent big and win. Don't even bother with DD spells until later, unless it's decay...

I am at around 75k MPR and I have been a Tank since pretty much forever and the other day I was at 350k score to 100k total PR so it isn't that hard with a new character and it is more than possible without being a mage.
