I have 800st and 800archery and i still miss with it. do i need to increase my dx or what?

Yes. Your opponent's DX is too high for you to hit him.
Also - Archery is most effective at 25% of ST, not 100% =)

1: yes you need to increase DX.
all hit chance is based on DX and the +'es of your weapons.
2: 800 archery with 800 ST is too much. your archery should have been 200....
you should also move that katana to your archer.
Archery only grants more rounds and extra damage (up to 40 %) but has nothing to do with chance of hitting.
From skills and spells description page: "Archery has reduced effect when its level is low relative to ST"
I think with 800 ST, 900 for Archery will be the best, but 810 archery still can give you 1.0 effectiveness.

For 800ST, 200 archery is best.
Without a melee weapon, your minions is ineffective in melee rounds, as both the DX and the to-hit are reduced then.
Without HP or AS, his minion likely isn't making into melee rounds for weapons to matter :)

Adrian, I don't mean to pick on you, but that's exactly what I mean when I say you should play more before giving advice.
900 archery for 800 strength is absurd. 200, as has already been said.
That's what I like from this forum....
But that what I got from some external forum.

I think the first three things to do are; moving the tank all the way back, and giving him the katana, Mages don't use melee weapons, unassign the scythe...

You didn't have to retire that guy, you could of just untrained or just trained more STR to fill the 1/4 for archery
lol a good lesson for the newbies, though PC wont be here to implement, just saw that he was banned :O, oh well, yay!
