Do you think Jon going to do anything with TBF this month? (in General)

I'm wondering if Jon has any plans for TBF this odd month. After all, he nerf archery and NUB. I'm betting he's not going to nerf TBF...

I doubt he'd nerf something that hardly anyone uses. Perhaps he has plans to make it better though, and in doing so indirectly effect the FF/FB/DM strat which is ever so popular.

Who really cares, noone uses it. Even if its beefed up to protect vs FB even the whole party, its still a very weak tattoo.

Well I use it and from my experience I can say that the TBF isn't THAT weak, well a least the FB reduction component isn't. The problem with the TBF is the anti-melee part of it, it is underpowered in my opinion plain and simple.

All of the opponents on my fight list except one use the FF/FB/DM strat, only one on my list uses any melee at all. Against TOA tanks, their damage is just too great, and they hit too many times compared to the splash damage the TBF gives back. My TBF tank dies after one or two rounds of melee combat meaning the tank that deals the damage gets hit once or twice by my lvl 400k TBF for about 70k damage a pop - even less against TOE or heavily armed tanks. This is against tanks with 250k+ HP who hit me 2 or 3 times for up to 100k damage. Some of these tanks make up all the damage my TBF deals through VA or through their BoTH or MH.

Now with more tanks changing to Bloodlust, tanks are doing even more damage in melee making things even more difficult.

I have 2 suggestions:

1) Reduce TBF damage slightly and make it retaliate against each hit not just once each round.

2) Make the Evasion component more effective to reduce triple and double hits (make it like the PTH that the TOA gives).

Thinking about this, 1 and 2 are mutually exclusive.

Make the tattoo better at dodging, and you return less damage.

I think we need to decide what it's job is. If it's a Tattoo to increase your evasion *cough* change evasion stacking *cough* then leave it as once per round damage and boost it.

Otherwise, drop the evasion, have it retaliate one per hit and boost it.

Either way, it needs the FB reduction boosted.

the poor tat has lost its identity - doesn't know who it is, whether it wants to get hit or avoid getting hit... maybe a visit to the tattoo art- I mean doctor, will clear this little identity crisis right up!

Evasion is actually very helpful for a TBF tank. The TBF returns the same amount of damage regardless of whether your hit once, double hit, or triple hit. Evasion is very handy for reducing those triple/double hits.

I realise my two suggestions are mutually exclusive, either one would be enough to give it a nice boost. Another suggestion would be to make the TBF benefit all minions much like the TOE.

No.

Yes?

Maybe? ;)
